I've got my Grandfather's 1960 Starcraft aluminum 12' boat. Has the old style screw in drain plug with an O ring. I took it out of the boat to keep it someplace safe.... and of course can't find it now.
Any idea where I can find a replacement? It is NOT like the new style that inserts into a hole and you close the lever locking it in place.

Is it the one with the big coarse threads like this? https://www.amazon.com/Amarine-made-Garboard-Drain-Stainless-Thread/dp/B015ZBLHMS?ref_=fsclp_pl_dp_2

I also had threaded plug. My threads were bad so I smeared sealant in them and used a modern one with the rubber. Be sure to get a quality one if you go this way, many cheap ones out there

If you can’t find it, try calling Starcraft customer service, I think the guy’s name is Andy, at 574-831-7735. Have your HIN handy and they might be able to sell you one.
