I really don't know the history of Memphis Belle boats but the last 2 digits of the model number is often the year if I recall correctly. So you, sir, would have a 1955 tin boat.

Sure would like to some more pictures of it not "teenage edited".

It is the last 2 or 2nd to the last 2 "if" there was a mid-year model change of the HIN (Hull Identification Number) that denotes the year of manufacturer.

It might be that some Mfg'rs used the last 2 -digits of their model# to denote the build year, but I have no idea of that and never heard of it. But in this post, someone else believes it to be true:

This is the link to the USCG database for HINs and boat makers - https://www.uscgboating.org/content/manufacturers-identification.php , but nothing came up for Memphis Belle or the Guy Barnette Company, which used to make 'coach cars', see: https://www.coachbuilt.com/bui/b/barnette/barnette.htm

Cool boat regardless!

I took a few pics this evening

Did you ever learn more about your 55 Memphis Belle Boat. I have one also and can’t seem to find any information. I do have the original brochure and price guide to place orders but nothing else much online about it.
