Need a refresher on these.Never owned a remote start and still don’t,but when you push key only I know it activates solenoid but does that alone squirt the fuel from just the pressure from the tank or does it pump when the key is turned to crank while pushing in?

Fuel pressure has to be present. When the key is pressed the solenoid opens a pintle valve and allows fuel flow.
Pressurize the fuel system using the primer bulb.
Turn the key switch on and press and hold the key switch in for a couple seconds then engage the starter.
Use additional primer as needed.
When the flywheel is turning the engine will supply a pulse to the fuel pump and the pump will also pressurize the primer but always use the primer bulb first.

Thanks Pappy. That’s what I was thinking.I had posted about timing on a 25hp and hoped you would have some insight.
