I wanted to throw some transparency your way regarding the $150 membership fee that we implemented this year in the central division.
The tournament application process in MN/WI is pretty expensive and time-consuming. We want to follow all of the rules, but that comes with a hefty price for the central region, unfortunately.
Part of that membership fee goes towards paying those permit fees so we can actually hold an event. The rest of it goes right into the Classic Championship pot for each state.
We are always looking to improve processes from year to year, and with this being the 1st year in the central area, we are looking forward to gathering the data, looking at expenses, and getting feedback from our members in an effort to be better and better each year! Thank you.
