Hoping for some guidance from the group.
I have a G3 1548 VBW that came with two Tempress seats on pedestal mounts. Doubt I will ever use the pedestals but have tried to mount a swivel-eze slider rail mount and swivel base for one of the Tempress seats. The front edge of the seat sticks out 5 inches from the front of the bench. Would like to be able to sit further back on the bench but keep some sideways adjustability for trim. Looked at a swivel-eze clamp mount, but because of the rear floatation enclosures, the seat will have to be near the center of the bench unless the rear clamp is modified somehow. Do I need to find a seat that is less deep or is there another alternative? Would love to have some back support while in the boat.
Appreciate any ideas.
