Hello wonderful boat people! My name is Eric and I just recently purchased this vintage aluminum boat. I was told it was a 1960s Alumacraft & it’s not ...Any information helping with identification is much appreciated. Thanks in advance

Had a friend who once had one of those vintage Cadillac boats, complete with 'fins' on the back, like shown. The boat was simply STUNNING =D> !

Based on my idea, he took a newer Nissan 25hp electric start OB and fabricated a baseplate that affixed to the engine pan, so that an old OMC motor cowling from the 50s would latch onto it. You could even flip down the cover on the front and still pull the rope start, if needed. It looked way cool (painted to mimic a vintage OB) but gave him the reliability he was also looking for. That was quite the cruiser!
