Transducer compatibility

I have a Humminbird Piranha 5, would like to know if a Humminbird XNT 9-20-T Single/Dual Beam Transducer Helix Matrix Piranha will work correctly with a Hummingbird Piranha 5? The connector is the same and some told me as long as the fish finder operated on the same frequencies it would work? Thank you in advance.

I don't know the answer to the question, but I can say that I'm sure H'bird does. I recently bought a Helix 7; I have contacted them through their web site on a couple of issues and they have responded very quickly.

I have had good luck with HB tech support even on old legacy equipment they don’t support anymore.

The xtn is for Helix units, will still show depth but your unit is to stupid to do much more, sorry
