I have a 15ft SeaArk. The 25hp motor I purchased does not have power trim and tilt. I noticed I can shift my weight a little forward or aft and make the boat stop porpoising. With this hull being so flat I don't see things getting better by trimming all the way down during the times the rough water kicks up. It's still going to beat me up either way. I like to use my boat to fish the shallow areas chasing after redfish.

On a boat this small other than for convenience is there a benefit to having power trim and tilt? I think with a jack plate I should be able to get the motor up high enough to not be an issue while drifting the flats.

EDIT: This thread can be deleted. I did a search and found plenty of information.

Look for a parts motor that has the trim unit on it. They are expensive, but once you have it......awesome !!
