I bought a boat with a console steer 1996 Johnson 40/28 jet and I would like to swap it to a Tiller.

I would buy/trade as needed to complete the swap.

The OEM tiller handle part number is 0434101.

I think the mid 90's to 2005 Johnson 40/50 tiller handles would fit.

Update - I got lucky and the local boat shop just took one off.
 
That is super lucky, very hard to find a complete tiller setup conversion. I know, been looking for one for my 1989 johnson 48 spl
