    Installing depth finder

you can go with a magnetic mount or the glue on sternsaver mount.i have one but never used it.i went with a spring loaded transducer mount.if i hit something with the transducer it flips up and puts no stress on the actual trans or the transom.

i just traced a cardboard template for the bow/stern,traced them on a couple 2x10's sandwiched and screwed, and floor jacked them up under the hull to redo my bunks, easy.

    More H.P. ??

good story.anyway, the 15 hp 2 stroke is basically a maxed out 9.9.you can play around with prop sizes and improve your hole shot a little,or lose bottom end for slightly higher top speed but overall you aren't going to get much more out of it.even bumping up to a 25 you'll likely see maybe a 5...

    Motor selection

new or used? what are there for dealers in your area and do you plan to fish local, mostly? for 25/30 i'd go tohatsu or etec.tohatsu for value and etec for ease of maintenance, plus power.nothing will out pull an etec.i've got over 300 hours on my 40 and i haven't done a thing to it,it's more...
