Good point, I was thinking if it was windy to just use my 25hp on low idle.... but the fuel consumption is something to consider.... I'll play around with the engine this spring see how the boat handles on waves.... I might go bigger

Parts showed up last night! gotta put together new Empower some bolts thermostat and gasket and took about three pulls and she fired up for about 10 to 15 seconds sounded nice and quiet then it cut off thinking I need to adjust the carburetor just a little bit or possibly the low idle speed but...

Built the mount for my ice fishing transducer today, used 3/8" nuts make a perfect sleeve so there's no play in the rod when trolling :) and it's easily removable for on the fly!
