Use some rubber or plastic washers between the boat and he charger as well as between the screw head and the charger and you will be just fine.

I have not, where I fish its electric only so we only go as fast as a 50lbs minn kota will take us on a 17 footer.

Got my new pedestal seat installed in the middle of the boat today. Plenty of clearance between the hull and the floor.

Got two of my new rod holders installed today! Cannon holders and woodlander mounts from eBay for tracker versa track.

The current seat base is in the middle an right in the way of steering, boats electric only so the only trolling motor is in the transom, plus it takes up too much room when I want to stand on the back deck...here's a little better picture.

What about something like this? Do you think it would be sturdy enough when just bolted/screwed to the floor? Does anyone make heavy duty toggle bolts that would hold this set up down to the floor...I think that would be a better option that screws.

So I want to put another seat post in the rear of my boat but don't want to drill the hole for the base until I know what's under there. I want to go to the right of the current base you see in the picture where the plastic plug is, is there anything aside from foam under there? Are those plugs...

On the floor? What about on the transom with the mount that came with the FF?

I was thinking about the clear plastic sheets that protect from scratches...

I just picked up a Lowrance Elite 4x with CHIRP and was curious is anyone uses a screen protector like one for a cell phone? If so where is the best place to pick one up? Also any quick tips on best mounting location for the transducer, I'm running a grizzly 1754 electric only with a transom...
