Thank you, Ive seen these old ads and one thing that has me puzzled is all of the early 50's commanders have handle cutouts in the back corners, mine are solid which is why I asked the group.

The lady I got it from told me it has been their farm boat for years. I have managed to straighten out most of the other dents and removed the old transom but that back corner is gonna be a tough one to fix.
