Check the ground on the truck side as well especially if you have a 7 pin connector. I chased a ground problem similar to yours for two days. I rewired the trailer, had good voltage but finally found a corroded ground backside of the 7 pin connector.

No point in dealing with the people on craigslist for this stuff when there are plenty of people here who could put it to good use.

Doesn't look that bad from your pic. I think a wire wheel would take more metal than the corrosion. Go to Napa and buy a bottle or two of alumabrite to clean it. I'd be more worried about what the floor looks like under that foam

No sweat. It was just gonna collect dust in my garage. It is the same as the lowrance x4 so the ducer for that may work, but I think they can still be had on amazon
