Back seat with a Wise detachable seat mount. I wasn't sure how it would work and I wasn't excited about making holes in the bench seat, so I used ratchet tie-downs to secure the plywood in place over the bench seat. My rear bench is open underneath so it was easy to do and it holds very well.

Primed and then painted with Dutch Boy's porch paint, which has a nice sand texture to it. Added some camo for color:

Found the problem. It was indeed that I had the fuel line/bulb hooked up in the wrong direction. I feel so dumb. Also, relieved that it wasn't something more serious. I took it out for a few hours yesterday afternoon and it worked great. (Although I about froze). 36 degrees and coveralls...

For what it's worth, I think Lowe uses Karavan trailers....at least the one I bought came on a Karavan trailer.

Great looking boat! What method did you use to attach the carpeted-covered plywood to the rear bench?

Looks real nice! I want to do something similar in my boat. How did you attach the carpted boards to the top of the bench seats? I can't tell if that's what you used the glue for or if the glue was just for the carpet onto the plywood.
