I was told if you go with a 3 blade stainless you will see a small mph gain over stock but haven't heard any good about the 4.

The ones in my boat are made by tempress. Made in Texas I believe. They make several kinds and are very reasonable.

Have you tried to look it up on marineengine.com they have diagrams on there that might help

Is it a solid rivet or hollow? If solid do you have a rivet gun? If so make sure to use a bucking bar on the inside while using the gun. This will make it tighten up in the hole while smashing the inside down. Also if the rivet is too long you can use a shorter one. Good luck

I don't know where your located but if you get on Facebook and look up semo jet boats there is always used motors for sale. I'll keep checking around indiana but haven't seen anything recent so good luck

I don't know about the lowrance models but if your interested in a humminbird you can buy off there website a discontinued model for a descent price might be worth looking into surely they both have similar options on there site good luck and happy bday

If you can I'd try moving some weight forward first. If that doesn't help go to the prop next..I've heard good and bad about the jackplate. And no idea about a whale tail.
