My fish finder works great up to about 8 MPH, over that it shows fish everywhere and that Im in 500ft of water. How far from the bottom of the boat should the transducer be and does anyone have a pic of their transducer on a flat bottom boat that works like it should over 8MPH Thanks

yea I have my transducer and speed sensor for my fish finder screwed into mine with some silicon on the threds, and no leaks!!

I raised it up using a spacer and it cavitated so I'm not sure ...... I'll look at it again, it is a short shaft and my transom is 15"

I dont know how your boat is set up but this on is easy to take in and out. Hardest part is getting the tarp on by your self, but then again its a PITA to get the car cover over my Camaro by myself, so thats probably a givin that the boat is going to be a PITA

Took it out Sunday, still need to work on the trim as it wants to dig the bow in to much even at a high trim, I know I had cruddy foils on it before, I ordered a stingray jr ... I have the sr on my bow rider and it made it so much better. I got 27MPH out of it what is fast enough but the bow...

Its nice to keep a cover over your boat when its in the yard, but we all know no matter how tight you have them on your boat, they turn into pools everytime it rains So I decided to make support system for mine and here is how you can make one I used 1 1/4 on mine and the pics pretty much...

Thanks Pappy, so the pressure gauge in the "pee" line is ok

I would like to add a water pressure or water temp or cyl head temp gauge, but I have not seen a darn way on how to do this. Can you tap into the "pee" line to do the PSI gauge. I want to do this without having to drill and tap any part of the engine. Thanks

Well friends today was trailer day ...... Added guide ons and a spair tire I also ordered for the engine ..... A throttle cable, grip and all the piviots for it, prop, and other touch up parts Post pics tomorrow

Oh yea alot saved And yea its going to haul :twisted: ......... Probably to fast. But that extra speed is nice to get back to the launch when bad weather or what not is comming. I really didnt intend to get a motor to haul azz, but the deal was good, I was trying to tell my freind I dont need...

Yea I would get alteast 6ply (LRC) I run 8ply (LRD) on all my utility trailer tires. Also a great way to protect trailer tires is 303 Aerospace Protectant. I spray the fronts and backs of my trailer and motorhome tires with this stuff once a month. I also have tire covers on them when parked...
