    G3 1448PF performance with 25 hp Yamaha 2-stroke

Hwew, just give that motor to me. You don't use it enough. I can be there tomorrow at 5:30.

    Bilge Pump Heat Output

Freeze a milk jug full of water. Put it inside the tank when you fill it up. Have another one in your cooler if you're planning to be on the water for more than 4-5 hours.

WTB Yamaha/Mariner propeller and mini jacker

I have an 81 Japanese built Mariner 25 hp (mfg by Yamaha). The prop that came on it is really beat up and I would like to find a cheap replacement. Does anyone have a 9 7/8" or 10" 10 spline prop in 10.5-12 pitch in good condition? Stainless would be great, but I'm looking to stay budget. Also...

    Propane

I noticed that the park police that patrol the riverwalk in San Antonio have 4 stroke 9.9 Yamaha motors that are rigged to run on propane.

2002 Alumacraft MV 1544 AW Makeover

Sweet, let us know how the pods work out. I've often wondered if pods introduce additional drag, this reducing the top end speed.

    Herloom 14' Arkansas Traveler Mod

Thanks, the PO of my boat painted over the whole thing with grey car paint, but didn't really prep the surface, so it's flashing everywhere. I plan to strip it, then got it with the kem 400 from Sherwin.

Chemical strip or grinder/sander? If chemical, what did you use?

    12 Ft Star Craft

I had this exact boat. It's rated for a 10hp motor, but I ran a 15. I hated that middle bench, but that boat was so flimsy that I never considered removing it. It's conceivable that you'd be safe if you weren't running a 10 or 15hp. I was getting 24mph, so I needed the stability. Here's a few...

    Can anyone identify this boat?

Mine's an 87, and I think my buddy has an 89 duracraft, so they were at least made until then. I think the war eagle guys bought the old molds recently and began manufacturing them again.

'81 Mariner 25hp WOT RPM Range

I have a 1981 Mariner (Yamaha built) 25hp motor. It's a short shaft tiller with E-start. It's a 695 model 25C with the thru-prop exhaust. I can give more info if needed. I can't seem to find a reliable range for the max RPM at WOT for this motor. I'm trying to get it set up right and need this...

    Definitely a Duracraft.

    Buckethead's 1974 Duracraft 1720

Great mod, Buckethead. I just got a similar Duracraft myself. I'm wondering the exact length of yours. Mine is about 14.5' long and 40" wide. Not sure if this classifies as a 1540 or what. I got a 25hp Mariner that I went through and refurbished. Runs great now. I get about 29mph according to...

    Jack plates and hydrofoils

Not much useful advice here from what I've seen. What was the payload in your rig on this cast and blast trip (men+ gear)? When taking about props, the first two questions to ask are always: 1. What RPM were you running? 2. What is the RPM rating for your motor. Your motor looks to be at about...
