Ok so here's my start to a built thread nodded the front seat as a small deck all the way to the front replaced transom and the outside wood the motor sits on, gave the whole outside fresh paint as well as adding a 10 hp evinrude sportwin. I bass fish mostly on lakes and usually have a person or two with me so with that said what are some good mods you guys reccomend

I am digging it! looking great on the hull work. What brand primer and paint did you use? Looking forward to following your rebuild.

Stripped it then used an acid etching primer then 2 coats or rustoleum primer then 2 coats of rustoleum topside marine paint

I'm thinking adding a deck that's really low that goes from front seat to the back seat and taking out the middle seat will I lose structural integrity if I remove the middle seat ?

Yes you will, the sides of boat will flap when you hit waves. Need to incorporate that area into your design.

Right I kinda figured that, here's what I started today it's 5/8 thick and I'm only 180 lbs I cut 2x4 and stood the pieces on end for center support seems sturdy enough, only other thing I'll do is tie in the floors to the seat boards some how

That's a good question about the middle. I see three options, cooler, live well, and or seating.

Or what about a combo?

A ice chest with a live well option, with a padded top for an extra seat. Then on the sides a couple of speakers.

I like the cooler ideal the cool metal might help it, I think it's too shallow for a live well which I think will under the middle seat when it goes back in u can see the brackets on the side, how would I go about a cooler ? And I wanna replace the seats and integrate rod holders too !

Thinking of doing away with the middle seat and putting in some aluminum to keep the sides from stretching but I finished it and took it out today it did good def a 2 person boat now

More room is aways a good thing. Probably could use some aluminum angle to make a rib to hold the middle together. Would keep it open still and if you don't tig weld
Bolts and washers would be just fine.
You know with the middle open the sides would be a great place for rod storage. Also a long cooler?? Then the rib would be encased. Just my 2 cents.

here's what I was thinking for seat removal the red would be either a piece or aluminum or 1 by
