Working on a '84 Basstracker for saltwater use, Ill be decking it with wood and finishing it out with ultra tuff. Im not really going to cover all the framing and decking as we have all seen it too many times. Today I did get my bench seat fabricated and installed wondering what yall think. The aluminum is just the framework I will be ulpholtering ply and installing it on top of the aluminum.

Sounds like you are moving good on your project. Make sure you seal the wood with several coats of marine spar varnish and drill the screw holes where you want them BEFORE you seal it too. Many people forget about this and drill the holes AFTER it is sealed and water will get into the wood thru the screw heads and be trapped. Upholstered wood can hold water under the covering for a long time when it gets wet. Keep up the good work and good luck! :)
