Spent the day ripping out the old carpet and floors. The previous owner used GT ply in a few spots and ended up carpeting over the carpeting. I just shake my head.
Built the framework using 2x2's and 2x2 Rigid Tie Bracket's that I bought at our local Home Depot. Used coated deck screws all around and then sealed the wood. Got the ply all cut to fit and started carpeting the past few days. My finger tips and angry with me at the moment . There was a live well in the boat, but I never used it. I always use my marine cooler when I'm out and the live well ends up being used as storage.
Still have a few small things left. I have the wiring to complete tonight and a few other areas that I want to finish carpeting. Like the insides of the storage doors on the side, back, and bow. Mount the throttle and seats. Then all that is left is to vacuum and trim the carpeting on the sides.
