Whats the deepest water a bass will spawn in, and why?

I have seen there fin out of the water they were so shallow and as deep as about 14 foot. If you're on a lake fishing for them try to look for places that don't get a lot of boat trafic and waves. I know it sounds crazy but it works for me.

I've seen spotted bass here in Georgia spawn as deep as 15'+... clear water is one of the factors and the other on one particular lake where I know they spawn that deep is because it's backwaters off a larger lake where they generate power.... so that water is constantly rising and lowering anywhere from 0 to 20 feet..

There is a lake near me where i am fairly certain they will spawn in over 10 feet and maybe even much deeper. The why is lack of structure and protection
