Pretty sure I know the answer but thought I'd ask anyway. Wife bought me a troling motor with an anode at the bottom of the shaft. A nice little 10hp Evenrude would have been better, but I'll take it. I row a very simple, bare bones jon boat in salt water....other than battery nav lights, flashlights, and now a 12v deep cell battery, there's no other electrical in/on the boat. Nothing connected to the hull. Boat is trailered and rinsed after every trip. Washed occasionally. I have 2 old, small outboads on the work bench and will use them from time to time.
I don't need an anode on the hull, correct?
