Our club fished here last saturday. We stayed mostly in the SW tip of the lake where the canal goes to the next lake and worked the shore (grass and reeds). We had great success with a speed worm (watermellon red) rigged weedless with no weight. Throwing into the reeds/grass and retreivng slowly. We caught about 12 bass. Most were only 13 oz. 10.7 lbs took the tour with 5 bass. Most boats had 5 bass per person with an average weight for 5 of arounf 5 lbs. Biggest bass was 4 pounds 9 oz.

Man I used to love those speedworms down on the St johns/Rodman reservoir. Caught a lot of bass the same way.....man I miss Florida.
