Baked Cabbage and Beef
1 1/2 Lbs Beef
3/4 Cups Hot Water
2 Tbsp Flour
1 Tbsp Vinegar
1 tsp Salt
2 tsp instant beef boullion
1/4 tsp Pepper
1 small head Cabbage
2 Tbsp oil
3 Large Sliced Onions
Combine flour , salt and pepper, Coat meat with flour mixture. In Skillet quickly
brown meat on all sides in hot oil. Drain fat. Add onions , In same skillet,
Combine water , vinegar, and boullion granules. Stir togather, scraping browned
bits from skillet, Pour all into roster,Cut Cabbage into quarters lay on top, cover and bake in oven on 350 degrees
for 2 1/2 hours or until done
This is a great meal in the cold up North, But I still make it down here in sunny Florida, Miss them cooler days from up North. I double this all the time and just use one head of Cabbage.
