I would like to install a switch to turn off all power from the battery. I have accidentally had a light switch left on and drained the battery. I want to be able to turn off the battery power to everything once I trailer the boat. It could be like a breaker or a keyed switch. I saw this one at Cabela's as an example. I don't really care if it's keyed or not, maybe the key provides a little security?

The switch in the link seems kind of small (10 Amp) to me unless you are only using it to turn off running lights and maybe a fish finder. If you have a lot of items you may want think bigger. The one I have in the link below comes in 200 or 275 Amps. That should be enough for all your items including a trolling motor.

Thanks. I didn't know what the right switch was and that one seems to do it simply.
