Nice post too....too bad those fish weren't bigger...but they're still fun to catch if that's all that's biting. I'm really hoping I can get back out soon....I'd like to try that part of the river too....I think the water is even lower now than when you went out so it might mean some bottom dragging.

Wish my motor ran that quiet.

Yes Zum,there is some skinny water on that river.I've scraped bottom (at criusing speed)about 6miles downstream,a couple of years ago.I always rub the bottom and sometimes have to free the boat,while floating back downstream.
 
So.....where's the fish report Steve? I've fished this stretch a couple times this year. Landed a couple, but nothing to really brag about. I'm sure the water is lower now than it was when I was out too.
