I was given an abc one , but no mount for it, so I got thinking what about unastrap, like the ones used by ac guys to hang duct and mount it to a bench, because I have to have one on my 10' jon boat because of the trolling motor.
texas requires them on any boat with a motor. any though on the mount?

Take the strap to a shoe shop or DIY a snap button like jeans have and leave about 1" of fabric past the snap. I'm not sure they ever check the mount but I think a quick release mount is required in some places. I actually like the concept.

thanks colbyt , was not shure about quick release, but a pull out type was the first thought.
