Well here goes, I've gone back and fourth on either the min Kota edge 55, or power drive 55. The edge 65 and now that cabelas is having a sale on the power drive 50 for $430 my head is spinning. I keep reading the electric steer has a bit of a delay? Is this noticeable? I have a 16' Starcraft (build in conversion forum '16 v hull conversion") I mainly bass fish.
I love the idea of added features to the power drive, is calling to me like I pilot, wireless pedal, but the whole steering delay thing is concerning me.
Will there be a noticeable difference from the 50lb thrust to the 55?
What motor would you choose and why?
And lastly the 65lb edge , I like the added thrust, but just not sure it's needed, and then having to use two batteries...trying to keep weight down.
