How much trust on my trolling motor?

I have an older Johnson BF4PV97 trolling motor 24 volt foot controlled I am looking at selling but I can't figure out how much trust it has any help would be appreciated.

Don't know what you mean by how much "trust" on a trolling motor? I've never heard that expression.

Do you mean how long is it likely to last before it stops working?

Try to find the model number and google it.

You should know though, that some of those 24v OMC trolling motors were not rated at that high a thrust.

With that said, some guys STILL love them, and they have a pretty solid reputation for reliability, and for being underrated by quite a bit in their LB/Thrust rating.
