Hummingbird 140c Fishin' Buddy a good buy??

i was in dicks sporting goods, and i saw they have a 140c Fishin' Buddy, has anyone ever use one of thses,, i like the fact is battery (6 AA),, no wires etc etc.. but i honestly dont know how to use a fish finder,, just wndering what people think of it,, and if they use it, is it good bad etc etc,,

Itlooks like a very good unit the 320 vert pixels will give you great details.
it looks like it will give you water temp also
