My live well drain still has a slow leak! I put 2 hose clamps on it and tightened it as much as I could. I think I need to put some type of sealant on it and reclamp. My question is what should I use to seal it? I want to be able to remove it if I need to so I don't want to use 5200. Thanks in advance.

Its what I use on my transom bolts so I can put my outboard indoors every winter.

I actually have a old tube of that in my shop, I will check and see if its still viable. Thanks!

A hose clamp on a livewell drain should seal it. You may have some other issue like a split coupling or hose or maybe the pump itself is leaking. Might be worth another more serious look.

I will take a look at it but I think its ok, Its just the thru hull drain there is no pump anymore since I am using as cooler and not a live well anymore. I am reusing the old hose so it is possible that is the problem. I will try the life seal and see how that goes but will check for cracks when I have it apart.
