Well, after spending a considerable amount of timing going through this forum, looks like it is time for me to get into the mix. The boat is a 15 foot Legend deep "V" powered by a 1984 Johnson 35 HP electric start.
My plans are as follows:
A. Remove the centre seat ( which currently houses the live well)
B. Relocate the live well forward into new bow deck area
C. Install 2 seats on posts, tandem behind the steering column ( put weight in CoG on boat)
D. Build aft fishing deck on top of existing seats.
My questions are:
What would be the impact of removing the centre seat?
If I want to lower the C of G for the bow fishing platform, is it wise to remove the existing seats?
