Looking at an older 14ft aluminum, need advice.

I think that's way steep for that. You can do better, might have to travel a bit to get it, but def could do better.
 
Already bought it.. 1100. I probably could have done a little better with a bare bones boat, but I would have had the carpet and deck it.. and probably travel. This was local and the trailer had alot of new items. New tires, bearing buddies, axle springs, lights, wiring, tounge jack and chains.

The boat is well built and more solid than alot of newer aluminum I have seen... it is that old time heavy construction.

I am happy with the purchase and for my area, I think it was right on the money. I am not going to cry over a 200.00 savings on another boat that could or could not have come along.

Now with another 500.00 in new swival seats, bow mount motor and paint for trailer and boat.. it will be transformed into a very nice looking rig.
