This is a new boat I bought this spring. I am planning on doing decks (bow and stern) , storage, installing my bow mount trolling motor. Bow and stern pedestal seats (camo) 2 extra seat bases for when gas motor is going. I will keep posting photos as the build progresses

This is where I started the bracing. Had to use 2" angle on the bow platform because of the large radius on the seat

This is where the foam was cut and added for flotation and to keep the storage area dry.

Cool project! What is the max hp and what are you planning to power it with?
Thanks! It is rated for a 25hp. I go in tournaments where the HP is restricted to 10HP, so I got a 6HP for a good price. For now. Lol. Probably look at a 9.9 for next year. As a "Gypsy Fisher" (what we call our lil group that fish together, one of my fellow Gypsy Fishers(Jeff Gilby), has a build on here as well the 12/36 conversion. We hit some pretty remote locations to find the big hogs, so I need a motor that can be carried for a distance. I realize that with the weight of the decks and such I should have a larger motor, but I will see how she performs with all the fishing gear etc. loaded on her.
We had it out at a pretty big lake the other day for a trial run of my motor and it pushed it along pretty good. Probably about 15 km/hr (yes...I AM CANADIAN EH!!!)
Had her bouncin off the whitecaps like a champ!!!!
Only time will tell if I have to invest in a larger motor.
Below is a before and after of my motor. Still need to get some decals for the sides.

Looking forward to the rest of what you do. Looking good. I think you've pushed me over the edge to go with aluminum framing verses wood. Watching for updates

Thanks. I am glad i went that way. Its really stiff and strong with just rivets. All you need is a grinder and some cut off wheels and a rivet gun. The back deck is done now. I will post some photos.

Back deck framing begins. Want to make a hatch for my battery and one for my gas tank.
