menomine e river smallies

made a trip to iron mt mi , put 105 smallies in the boat . just kept a few for a fish fry

Nice catching.
Were only aloud to keep 5,some lakes 3 smallies.
Is one a different species,kinda looks like a walleye?

thanks .yep one poor walleye a few rock bass and one northern that didn't make the cut . we can keep 5 smallies , 2 fisherman ,one less than 2 limits. we try to keep the last small fish we catch .right at the line . smaller fish aren;t in the food chain as long, they don't pick up so many contaminates . like veal
