I was trolling a dodger and mini squid in pink and glow white. If you can't find the right rigs there let me know. Crappie tubes work instead of the squids

How do they taste? Pink meat like salmon in the grocery store?

They are great table fare and as for the color of the store salmon aren't even close.

Salmonoid = soft ray fish.

Soft ray fish = overgrown minnow!

Yeah, I'm jealous. We don't have salmoniods here in 'Bama, they would cook in our 91*F water.

Yeah, but that 5 1/2 hrs. away from me... I do love to go down there though. Like to go out to 200" of water and catch the Grouper and snapper... those are some good eatin'!


... and I do ok with the crappie 15 mins. from the house too, more good eatin'!

Know matter where I've lived I find some good fishing and think I'll stay here in the Pacific North West
