I finally got my front deck carpeted and installed. I used 3/4" plywood and 2x4's. The extra weight helped my boat ride a little better in choppy water so far. Adding that deck is like having a different boat. I still have a couple little things to do still but it is fishable. You can't see it in the pictures but I have a foot switch added to my trolling motor with the extended handle it works great. I left an opening between the deck and the bench with the live well so that I can put an ice chest there, big tackle box etc.
