I have not been out. Favorite site was destroyed a couple years ago.
Another week or so the whites will be up along the dirt drive.
Rain tomorrow. I'll check the old site for blacks after, probably.
Still have a stash of blacks dried. =P~
Tennessee here!
I haven't found the time to hunt yet this year. Darn it.
But two years ago I found a new spot that aperantly hasn't been discovered by anyone else. I found over 160 in an hour and half one day there. Filled half a five gallon bucket. A 100 at a time several other times there. Mostly very small tasty ones. I like them small and firm.
At my mother in laws place down the road I find them light tan and 4 to 8 inches tall all the time. No idea what typ they are but they get very tall. Also very fragile.
I didn't go out this year but a pair of brothers that I'm friends with get a couple hundred every year. They are picking 3rd and 4th generation honey holes it seems. One of them said they found 150 in a couple hours but they do like to exaggerate lol.
