My fishing partner and I fished our local lake today from 930am to 400pm. Air temp high was 69, and mostly sunny all day. The water temp was 69 degrees aswell. Average depth of the lake is about 4-5 ft. We were targeting bass and caught 14 of them, also got 6 pike.

We were using mainly plastics, (creature baits), but we did get a few on the old spinner bait and caught the biggest bass of the day on a topwater frog.

This lake is about 45 min west of Toronto in a little town called Campbellville
here are a few pics.

Nice fish.

Surprised fish can survive the winters up there in water that averages 4-5 feet deep.
