I bought this tin as a second boat to fish places I dare to take my Xpress. As usual I can't leave well enough alone. It's an ongoing project and I will update as I go along. One of the previous owners painted the entire boat (didn't miss anything) Green. I'm not a big fan of green.

Have some cracks in corners and a couple in the hull around rivets to fix, then I'll start putting it back together.

Great job!

but, boy...there's a lot to be said for "leaving well-enough alone."
:) :) :)

Will watch with fascination as you make it what you want it to be.

Nice work.

I removed the paint with Klean-Strip Aircraft remover, a putty knife and a pressure washer. The boat was then sanded with a Red Scotch brite, Then Grey, then buffed.

The main reason for disassembly was the crap that was in it from sitting for seven years as well as it was full of spiders and some rotting wood, It also was full of silly-cone where they tried to stop a few loose rivets from leaking, I will also be fixing these as well.
