Need quick opinions

REVO SX on its way. Now I have to convince the wife I need to add a veritas rod to complete the package.

veritas or vendetta? The Veritas looks really nice, but the Vendetta is supposed to be designed for the Revo reel. I also read a few reviews of the veritas that said it wasn't very sensitive. Maybe they got too heavy a rod?

The abu rods are all designed with the revos in mind. I like my veritas. It has great balance with a STX on it and is light (lightest rod I own). I don't think you can go wrong with either, but I would get the veritas. Of course the vendetta would look great with the SX because of the matching color scheme.

Thanks for the advice. Will braid hurt the guides on these rods?

Had to go cheap on the rod for now, so I picked up an AMP rod. Fished it today and the action seemed ok.
