Sold my Nautic Star Bay Boat in November because of storage issues and lack of use. Been pondering a replacement so to speak. Anyhow today I got it home. It's a 1542 Southfork Modified V. The V goes all the way to the transom tapering to 5 deg. No center seat and a 48" front deck with storage cut out. Got 7 ft between the front deck and rear seat for horizontal rod holders. Trolling motor mount with wiring and running light mounts also wired to transon with a rocker switch. Got one 18x24" lockable storage box that has wet capability. I hung a new Yamaha 25 2 stroke on the transom. This thing seems to be built like a tank, 2" ribs 12" o/c. No floor as of yet but I asked for flanges wherever practical for mounting the floor. Overall I am pleased. Have a little work to do before it gets wet. Pictures to follow.......battery is dead on the camera.

Got it wet beginning the breakin. I'm impressed so far. Me (215#), my son (100#), trolling motor, group 27 battery, about 4 gals gas, ice chest w/ice and about 10# assorted other gear.....31mph gps. This is with the stock aluminum pro. I'm curious as to the performance when my stainless prop gets here.
