I searched alot of places and I'm glad I found this site. Its full of expertise and great mods. I've spent hours just browsing the different projects and yet to see one I didn't pull something from. Anyway bought this bought a year and a half ago. Its seen some weather and the deck, carpet, wand other things are weathered. The wood at the bottom of the boat held water due to old styrofoam blocking drainage. Its a stick steer, which has its advantages, but looks like someone has already did a mod on it before. The original front bench seat was removed, and box seats added.

So I started by ripping the carpet off and geeting the deck as clean as I could. Didn't show final pics after vaccumed etc. Im not going to paint because I dont have the facilities. That would be the next mod. BTW, never really had any experiece with wood, tin, so any suggestions would be great!

Looking at what I had, I wanted to extend the front deck which can be a little tricky with a SS boat. I moved the helm to the right just off center. Moved the trolling battery up fron, along with the 2 bank charger. Mocked the deck and hatches. I used 2x2 for the majority of the framing. I hope its sturdy enough. Considered 2x4. I'll begin wiring this week. I had to use 1/4 ply on the sides. These are not PT. I'm looking for a way now to offer them some protection. This pics are where I left off today.
