Today was nice, I got the boat out for the first time this year and now we get more rain. I did float the dock at my cousin's house on the river but I didn't install the walkways yet just in case the river goes back up.

Day 2:

Left the catfish gear home, betting on a good smallmouth day. Ran 1/2 hour down river, and rain started soon after. Got allot of mid-day fog that made navigation fun at times. Bass were on the same pattern from yesterday. :D

7:45AM - 4:30PM
Air Temps: 49-56F
Water Temps: 47-48F
Overcast, on and off rain
Little to no Wind
Water Level: High 8', muddish

52 Smallies (tubes) A good number of 18"ers

This was a great start, especially coming off a season closer of a skunk.

Our next run of the river is coming up. Sunday thru Wendesday. Looks like the water levels will start out close to last trip, but water temps will be warmer. My son planned it on the full moon, but I'm not much of a believer for inland rivers. Potential for record setting numbers for us. :)

Looks like the Susquehanna

Bass are catch and release until 3rd Saturday in June, but we release them all. We will keep an ocasional cat or walleye (in season).

It was a cold, damp day on the river. Water temp was colder than we hoped. Fish were only biting a slow finesse retrieve. Great day for the conditions.

8:30AM - 4:30PM
Air Temps: 36-46F
Water Temps: 48F
Cloudy all day
Breezy at times
Water Level: High 8.5', stained

46 Smallies, two 18.5" (tubes)
1 Channel Cat (tube)
1 Fall Fish (kept for cat bait) (tube)

Well, todays fishing was called due to too many aches and pains from the prior three days! ;) And the weather was turning colder with rain. Monday and Tuesday started with frost on the ground, and made for some cold boat rides, but the sun warmed things up quickly. Tuesday the wind became a factor at 10-15mph. Jet doesn't like white caps. Our totals for the three days was 135 smallies (4lb 4oz, 19" largest), 2 walleyes, 1 catfish, and 1 fallfish.
