The trip from my ramp to my fishing area has me crossing a large crowded and windy lake. I'm taking a beating and was wondering if there are any rubber mounts or cheap ways to add a little suspension to the seats to soak up the hard hits. Seat is just mounted to a flat bench seat.

You could use the pin mount type seat bases that have the spring. I have them on mine they might help a little but dont know if the price is gonna be worth it if thats the only reason you want them. You could also try one of the "big man seats" that have a lot more foam in them.

Maybe ask a wheelchair user or durable medical goods dealer/vendor/service place if they have an unwanted used seat cushion. I replace mine at intervals as they soften with use and need to be just right. Doubt you,ll bottom out in one and they form better than plain pads.
If a chair user maybe take them fishing in exchange.
