spark plug question

I recently got a Mercury 110 9.8 motor. My question is I want to change the plugs and dont know what number or brand to use? Thanks,Brian.

They are champions cj6 .They look to short to me. I just got the motor and was going to tune it up and change the lower unit oil.

Can you post the model number?It should be on the transom clamp and/or a plate under the cowl.

The serial # is 3484650.

Is that the only number you could find?There should be a model number some where.May be in a different place than most others.

Your motor is a 1973 & should take a L78V
I personaly run NGK in my motors.The auto store should give you the cross for that plug if you want to run something different.

my ngk book shows stock # 5626,
ngk plug - buhw-2#
ngk uses a stock number and a part number, kinda confusing but a parts store can order with either number.
