Transom reinforcement on jon boat

Hey guys,

Just bought a new Lowe 1648 MT and I'll be using a 1996 Evinrude 25HP outboard. Should I reinforce the transom? If so, with what? Shouldn't the stock transom be enough since I'm under the max of 35HP?

It will be fine unless it is severely damaged or something of that nature.

Boat is brand new and no defects (hopefully)...
