Hoping I can get some ideas as of what to do here. I pick up this boat up in a few weeks.

I am wanting to cut out the brace that is slanted down on either side of the windshield. With out it the windshield flexes quite a bit. I can't rivet anything to it since the glass is real snug up against the frame. Any ideas?

Best pics I have at the moment. Thanks.

I would not change anything.

the whole windshield structure depends on being braced correctly and those braces are an important part of it

why do you want to change it?

Leave it alone or modify it to accept braces like the one's on the inside of the windshield.

I feel it would get in the way when vertical jigging deeper water

When I had a Crestliner that was similar to that if I were to jig from the helm seat I would stand up. Too much in the way with the windshield and steering wheel and console etc.

I would just avoid it and jig from the back of the boat.
