Garmin Panoptix Livescope

December 26, 2019 by jim 2 Comments

The Garmin Panoptix Livescope system looks to me like it’s the real deal if you are looking for a live scan system. I’ve never considered Garmin as a choice for boat electronics because I always associated Garmin with handheld GPS systems. After watching this video and doing a little research, I think this could change, but for a system like this, you are looking at roughly $2500 all in at a minimum. That kind of hurts.

Live Musky Jigging

Watch this video, it is nuts. You can actually see the fish coming up to the baits, the fish turning away, and the fish taking the bait. This is very cool in my opinion. This was an awesome video done by the guys at uncut angling. Subscribe to this channel, you won’t be sorry.

Panoptix LiveScope – Everything You Need to Know

Here is a fantastic video that was done by Lawren Wetzel on the Garmin Paoptix Livescope system. Thanks, Lawren!  Lawren has a very interesting youtube channel, worthy of subscription.

The search for my next scanning sonar continues. While I would love to have systems like these, the reality is I am not made of money. I need something that costs less than this.

Too much money, that setup is worth more than my boat.

The forward view technology could be a real game changer for hunting down fish in large open bodies of water. But sadly, the pricing is out of my reach.
